# Axis History - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `axishistory.com` ## Description Axis History is an online historical reference site focused on the armed forces, organisations, and military administration of the Axis nations, with extensive material on Germany and its wartime allies. Its content is arranged as a broad directory of topics, making it useful for readers researching particular units, formations, ranks, equipment, or national military services. The site covers Bulgaria, Croatia, Finland, Germany and Austria, including their air forces, armies, and navies. Its German-language sections range from pre-1933 military organisations and the Reichswehr to the Wehrmacht, Kriegsmarine, Luftwaffe, Waffen-SS, police, and political and security organisations. It also lists individual commands, divisions, brigades, regiments, battalions, and other units. Additional resources address campaigns and operations, Axis equipment, German military postal numbers, foreign volunteers and collaboration, organisational ranks, insignia, and related historical subjects. Rather than offering commercial products or services, Axis History provides an organised collection of historical reference pages and indexes. The directory’s breadth supports exploration of both national military structures and specific formations, while its subject headings help visitors navigate a complex period of history. ## Industries - 🧪 Science and Education - 🧪 History _(under Science and Education)_ - 🗺 Reference Materials - 🗺 Dictionaries and Encyclopedias _(under Reference Materials)_ ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idq1XmjeBy/w/955/h/147/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1745696698119) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Outer Space | #32373c | dark | | Jagged Ice | #b6e3d4 | light | | Caribbean Green | #00d082 | accent | ## Fonts - Roboto Condensed — asset _(google)_ - Open Sans — asset _(google)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
