## Description

Axis Theatre Company is a Vancouver-based brand that specializes in creating theatre for young audiences and the young at heart. Established in 1976, Axis has a long history of touring original plays for children, captivating and inspiring young minds through their performances. In addition to their theatrical productions, Axis engages with youth by offering theatre workshops in schools and soon-to-be online. Axis Theatre Company brings a unique approach to storytelling, incorporating elements such as red-nose clown, mime, movement, mask work, puppetry, and improvisation to create smart and entertaining interpretations of traditional and cutting-edge physical theatre. Their performances aim to educate, inspire, and transform audiences, offering interactive experiences that encourage young eyes to look up from their screens and engage with live performances. Axis Theatre Company is committed to acknowledging the indigenous peoples on whose traditional territories they live, work, and play. Join them on Granville Island in Vancouver and experience the magic of theatre that captures the hearts and minds of both children and adults.
