## Description

The Matt Shott Arizona Hockey Legacy Foundation is a charitable organization focused on supporting hockey programming and growing the sport across Arizona. Established in memory of Matt Shott, a pioneer who initiated many of the NHL’s youth programs in the state, the foundation works to continue his legacy by creating opportunities for the community to participate in hockey. Its mission is to conserve Arizona’s hockey ecosystem through strategic investments, partnerships, and programming.

The foundation offers and promotes a range of hockey activities, including Shott’s Tots, Little Leighton’s Try Hockey for Free, learn-to-play opportunities, and leagues such as the KWHL. Its website provides program and schedule information, event details, and resources for players and families. Visitors can also make a donation or take a pledge to support the foundation’s work, and shop through its online store. The organization shares news about its activities and Arizona hockey initiatives. Based in Tempe, Arizona, the foundation directs inquiries to its Board of Directors page so visitors can contact the appropriate person.
