## Description

Dumovec is the designated shelter for abandoned animals in the city of Zagreb, dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating homeless pets. It serves as a haven for stray dogs and cats, offering them shelter, care, and the opportunity for adoption into loving homes. The mission of Dumovec emphasizes responsible pet ownership, advocating for the importance of spaying and neutering to reduce the number of abandoned animals.

The shelter hosts a variety of initiatives including volunteer programs, educational workshops, and community outreach campaigns aimed at promoting animal welfare. Events like "Out of the Box" encourage citizens to engage with the shelter's animals, fostering a deeper bond and understanding of their needs. Additionally, Dumovec provides resources for lost and found animals, and facilitates the reporting of abused or injured pets. With a commitment to advocacy, education, and community involvement, Dumovec strives to create a compassionate and informed society for all living beings, ensuring that every animal receives the love they deserve.
