The Abu Zafar Institute of Medical Sciences (AZIMS) is the first private medical university in Pakistan. Established in 1996 by the Late Prof. Dr. Abu Zafar Ali Alvi, it is located in Karachi and is affiliated with the prestigious Quaid-e-Azam University.
