## Description

B4U-ACT is a nonprofit organization established in 2003 that brings together therapists, researchers, and minor-attracted people. Its mission is to promote a science-informed understanding of people attracted to children or adolescents and support them in living with truth and dignity. The organization works to improve access to compassionate, competent mental health care that responds to individuals’ stated needs, while challenging stigma and misconceptions that can discourage people from seeking support.

B4U-ACT offers educational resources and workshops for mental health professionals, researchers, and students, and can provide speakers for classes, workshops, and conferences. Its services and programs include therapist referrals, a peer-support forum, resources for family and friends, and opportunities for research consultation and collaboration. The organization also hosts professional discussions and research events, and publishes the B4U-ACT Quarterly Review, which summarizes research related to minor-attracted people. Its website provides information for people seeking therapy, professionals, journalists, and research participants. B4U-ACT is a tax-exempt 501(c)(3) organization supported in part by contributions.
