## Description

BabyCalm provides individual online support for parents coping with a baby who cries frequently or is difficult to soothe. The service aims to help families better understand their baby’s behavior, feel more confident responding to their needs, and find greater calm in everyday life. Rather than offering generic advice, BabyCalm presents its approach as practical, personalized guidance tailored to each family’s situation.

The support is based on developmental-psychology-informed consultation and short videos of the baby in everyday situations. Parents receive individual feedback, learn to recognize their baby’s behavioral strategies and possible needs, and get concrete suggestions for co-regulation. BabyCalm describes this process in three stages: observing, understanding, and responding. Its stated goals include reducing stress, supporting parents’ confidence and self-efficacy, and encouraging a healthy parent–baby bond.

Prospective clients can begin with a free 15-minute introductory phone call, followed by a free 30-minute consultation on Zoom. If the service is a suitable match, longer-term collaboration may be discussed.
