## Description

Backpacker’s Pantry is a family-owned outdoor food brand that has been making lightweight, nutritious meals since 1951. Based in Colorado, USA, the company serves backpackers, campers, hikers, climbers, mountaineers, hunters, and other adventurers, as well as people preparing emergency food supplies. Its selection includes freeze-dried and dehydrated entrees, breakfasts, desserts, meal kits, and multi-day bundles, with options designed for dietary preferences such as vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, dairy-free, peanut-free, and soy-free eating. Customers can also shop meals by activity and choose high-calorie or high-protein products. Made with quality freeze-dried ingredients, the meals are prepared by adding hot water, offering a convenient option for trails and campsites. The range features familiar favorites and internationally inspired flavors, including Pad Thai with Chicken, lasagna, and crème brûlée. Backpacker’s Pantry says it prioritizes responsible production: it donates 1% of every sale to conservation efforts and operates its facility on renewable solar energy. Alongside its food, the brand provides trail resources, customer support, and products for outdoor adventures.
