The Backpacks for Kids Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing children in need in the Greater Boston area with backpacks and school supplies for the upcoming school year. Founded in 2001 by high school students, the Foundation has been led by a passionate group of individuals and families over the years. Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the Foundation was still able to provide 564 backpacks to children last year.

Now, they are seeking donations and planning for the 2023 fundraising drive. The Foundation maintains strong relationships with local service agencies, who rely on their support. Their focus is on ensuring that every child has access to the education they need to succeed.
