## Description

The Anna and Jaroslav Krejčí Research Foundation is a Prague-based charitable foundation established in 2007 at the initiative of Professor Jaroslav Krejčí. It advances integrated social science, an interdisciplinary approach combining sociology, economics, history, law and political science—the fields that shaped Krejčí’s lifelong academic work. Krejčí taught and researched in Czech and British academic institutions, including the University of Lancaster, and promoted a holistic perspective on social issues.

The foundation supports research and public discussion through symposia, conferences, awards and scholarships. It also publishes works that contribute to its intellectual and educational mission. Its activities reflect a commitment to connecting disciplines and encouraging broader understanding of society, rather than treating social questions in isolation. The foundation was established with the involvement of historian Josef Tomeš, anglicist Hana Kallus, publicist Miroslav Krupička and Jiří Ryba of the SLON publishing house, with which it collaborates. Through its events, funding and publications, the foundation preserves and develops the integrated approach associated with Anna and Jaroslav Krejčí.
