## Description

Badger Honor Flight is a Madison, Wisconsin-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit and local hub of the Honor Flight Network. Its mission is to fly eligible veterans to Washington, D.C., so they can visit and be honored at the memorials dedicated to their service. The organization accepts applications from veterans who served between December 7, 1941, and July 31, 1991, across any branch or component, including active duty, Reserves, and National Guard, provided they were honorably discharged.

Badger Honor Flight organizes flights and related activities with support from volunteers and community donors. Volunteer opportunities include contributing medical skills and other talents, while businesses and individuals can sponsor flight activities such as transportation and meals. The organization also welcomes fundraising events and speaking engagements that support its mission. Supporters can donate online or shop for branded merchandise, including apparel and accessories, with a portion of proceeds benefiting the local hub. Badger Honor Flight shares flight schedules, trip photos, volunteer meeting information, and welcome-home updates, helping veterans, families, and the community stay connected with its work.
