The idea for Bad Norwegian was born when the co-founder, Marius, experienced the toll that extreme lack of sleep, sunlight, and stress took on his skin during an excursion through South Africa.
He found that most skincare products available were targeted towards women, with almost no options for men. This led him to create a line of skincare specifically dedicated to men. In collaboration with design friend, Castilñano, they created a brand that represents clean functionality and classic style.
This can be seen in everything from the naming and packaging design to the ingredients philosophy of using vegan and cruelty-free natural ingredients that have proven effects on the skin. One unique aspect of Bad Norwegian products is the instant effect they provide. Their facial creams have a tiger balm effect, resulting in a slight tingle that gives the skin a wake-up effect in the morning.
Products like the Wash Face and Wash Body are boosted with menthol for a refreshing and invigorating sensation. The Stick Deo deodorants use menthol to provide a cooling effect on the skin while eliminating odors. To ensure product efficacy and customer satisfaction, the brand tests their products on friends rather than animals.
