## Description

The Bundesverband Psychosozialer Zentren, formerly known as BAfF, is a pivotal organization in Germany that connects 51 psychosocial centers dedicated to supporting survivors of war, torture, and displacement. These centers provide comprehensive services, including psychosocial counseling, psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and social work assistance, specifically tailored to help individuals process their traumatic experiences. With an annual outreach of over 25,000 clients, the organization addresses critical topics such as trauma, legal rights, and healthcare accessibility for refugees and vulnerable populations. The Bundesverband also actively engages in advocacy, pushing for better conditions and support structures to meet the needs of refugees, particularly in rural areas where services are often lacking. Through various publications, conferences, and collaborative projects, the organization raises awareness of the challenges faced by its clients and promotes humanitarian principles in the context of migration and health care. Their commitment to humanitarian support underscores the vital role of psychosocial care in fostering resilience and recovery among affected individuals.
