## Description

BAFIERTAM is a prescription treatment for adults with relapsing forms of multiple sclerosis (MS), including clinically isolated syndrome, relapsing-remitting MS, and active secondary progressive MS. Its delayed-release capsules contain monomethyl fumarate (MMF), which is delivered directly as the active ingredient. The brand’s website provides information for patients and healthcare professionals about treatment benefits, safety, dosing, and clinical evidence.

Studies cited on the site report that BAFIERTAM can reduce relapses and delay disability progression and the development of brain lesions. It can be taken with or without food, with no stated alcohol restrictions. The site describes a generally established safety profile; common side effects include flushing and gastrointestinal symptoms. It also provides information for people considering a switch from dimethyl fumarate, including research on lymphocyte counts.

Eligible patients can access Cycle Vita, a patient support program. Additional resources include frequently asked questions, treatment guidance, educational materials about living with MS, and information to help patients discuss BAFIERTAM with their healthcare provider.
