## Description

BDP – Bagas de Portugal, C.R.L. is a cooperative of small-fruit producers based in Sever do Vouga, Portugal. It brings growers together around the commercialisation of small fruits, with a strategy focused on defending producers’ interests. The cooperative also highlights innovation and knowledge as important to developing the sector and giving the small-fruit industry renewed momentum.

Its range includes blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, currants, physalis and goji berries. Through its activities, BDP supports a collective approach to the production and marketing of these fruits. It shares sector news and information about its work, including seminars and field days addressing topics such as water, climate change, crop profitability and the control of Drosophila suzukii.

The cooperative invites producers to become members and provides a dedicated area for cooperators, alongside a newsletter for updates. Its office is located at VougaPark in Paradela do Vouga, and it can be contacted by telephone or email. BDP’s stated focus is to strengthen small-fruit production through cooperation, informed practices and producer-centred commercial strategy.
