## Description

Bajans and Friends for Health & Education (BAFFHE) is a registered nonprofit organization promoting Bajan culture, health, and education for Barbadians and their friends and families in Barbados and Southern California. Based in Norwalk, California, the organization brings community members together through cultural gatherings, educational support, and health-focused initiatives.

BAFFHE offers annual scholarships to Bajan students, along with a small book stipend, and supports local schools, teachers, and community organizations. Its health and education work includes participation in health fairs and community programs. The organization also hosts events that celebrate Barbados and encourage fellowship, including an Independence celebration and scholarship banquet, an annual fish fry, a family picnic, and trips such as its Santa Barbara bus outing. Events may also include discussions and activities focused on community well-being.

People can support BAFFHE by becoming members, volunteering, attending events, or making donations. Membership costs $55 per year, and contributions help fund scholarships and community support.
