## Description

Bakenhof is a privately owned and managed countryside retreat and wedding venue on a grape farm in South Africa’s Cape Winelands, between the historic towns of Paarl and Wellington and less than an hour’s drive from Cape Town. Surrounded by vineyards, gardens and views of the Hawequa mountains, it offers a peaceful setting for romantic getaways, business stays and special celebrations.

The property has eight self-catering suites across two accommodation complexes, with capacity for up to 22 adults and four children. The suites are within walking distance of each other and the wedding venue, providing a convenient stay for couples and their guests.

For weddings, Bakenhof offers a glass reception venue set among the vineyards, a chapel, dedicated get-ready facilities and accommodation. Its all-inclusive wedding packages are designed to help couples plan a celebration with support from the venue team. Guests can explore the venue’s gardens and grounds, while couples can view wedding portfolios, galleries, videos and photo opportunities to help plan their event.
