Description
Baker Prevention Coalition, Inc. (BPCI) is a non-profit community-based anti-drug prevention coalition located in Macclenny, FL. Established in 2010, BPCI originated as a subcommittee of Healthy Baker, Inc., the non-profit organization associated with the Baker County Health Department.
Recognizing the need for a dedicated entity focused on drug prevention, BPCI was officially incorporated on April 15th, 2013. Committed to fostering community change and reducing substance abuse, BPCI offers a range of campaigns, strategies, and resources to address drug prevention in Baker County. The coalition consists of a dedicated team, comprising a six-person volunteer board, two staffed employees, and a group of coalition members.
These individuals meet monthly at the local health department to discuss local needs, upcoming events, and more. BPCI's coalition members represent various sectors within the community, including youth, parents, business, media, schools, law enforcement, healthcare professionals, religious organizations, and more. By leveraging the expertise and collaboration of these sectors, BPCI aims to foster a comprehensive and effective approach to drug prevention.
