## Description

BakkerBio is a biodynamic and organic farming business based near Munnekezijl, on the edge of the Lauwersmeer area in the Netherlands. The farm grows a variety of crops, including cauliflower, potatoes, pumpkins, celeriac and grains, using a six-year crop rotation on its arable land. The growers describe their approach as careful and passionate, with produce cultivated to offer honest quality and flavour. Alongside crop production, BakkerBio raises suckler cows, which graze in Lauwersmeer National Park during the summer.

Consumers can buy or order the farm’s vegetables and potatoes directly. These are available from a roadside vegetable stall and the farm shop at Olde Borchweg 25 in Munnekezijl. Products are grown biodynamically under the Demeter standard or organically. The selection varies, and BakkerBio provides information about the current availability through its farm shop offering. By selling directly to consumers, the farm connects local shoppers with its seasonal produce. BakkerBio welcomes visitors looking to purchase vegetables and potatoes from the farm.
