## Description

BAKS AS is a machine contracting and construction company based in Storfjord, Norway. Founded in 2016, it was established to serve projects that may be too small for major contractors yet too complex for smaller operators. Today, BAKS describes itself as a complete contractor for assignments in construction and civil engineering, drawing on local knowledge and broad expertise to deliver projects of varied sizes and complexity.

Its services cover road planning, construction and renovation, as well as water and wastewater planning and installation. BAKS also designs and installs infiltration and small wastewater treatment systems, including support with discharge permit applications. For homes, cabins and commercial buildings, the company provides drainage work. Other services include mass transport of materials such as soil and stone, and winter maintenance, including snow clearing on private, municipal and state roads.

The company emphasizes quality, reliability, safety and sustainability. With a strong connection to Storfjord and surrounding areas, BAKS also undertakes projects that support local infrastructure and community development.
