## Description

BalletX is Philadelphia’s premier contemporary ballet company, creating bold dance experiences that bring people together through movement. Rooted in classical ballet and dedicated to new work, the company presents innovative choreography by established and emerging artists, performed by an ensemble of professional dancers. Its season features performances at the Suzanne Roberts Theatre and outdoor events at the Highmark Mann Center for the Performing Arts, alongside touring engagements and pop-up programs. Audiences can attend productions, purchase subscriptions and gift cards, or explore on-demand performances and behind-the-scenes films through BalletX Beyond. The organization also offers programs for dancers and the wider community, including auditions, choreographic opportunities, intensives, and Dance eXchange, which brings teaching artists into Philadelphia public schools. BalletX supports access to dance through education and community initiatives, and invites participation through donations, volunteering, corporate sponsorship, and planned giving. Its online shop offers apparel and gifts, with purchases supporting the company’s artists and programs. Through performance, learning, and public engagement, BalletX shares contemporary ballet with audiences in Philadelphia and beyond.
