## Description

The Ballí Family Organization is a family-focused website dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage of the Ballí family. It offers historical information about the family’s origins, lineage, notable ancestors, and land grants, alongside family news and links and email addresses for relatives. The site traces the family name to Vailly, associated with the Italian provinces of Verona and Padua, and recounts the family’s spread across Italy, Spain, and Mexico. Its history includes Pedro Ballí, a 16th-century printer in Mexico City, and descendants who became prominent in Nuevo Santander, now part of northeastern Mexico. A significant focus is La Barreta, a land grant that Francisco Ballí Villarreal sold to his brother Manuel in 1804. The organization presents the family’s account of the property’s history and its ongoing ownership dispute involving the Kenedy Foundation, emphasizing its aim to establish what it considers the truth of that history. The site also identifies family organization contacts, including its president, vice president, historian, canvasser, and webmaster.
