## Description

Willer Balloon Sail is a hot-air ballooning event held during Kiel Week on the Nordmarksportfeld in Kiel. Its 20th edition is scheduled for June 19–28, 2026, bringing together colorful balloons, special-shaped balloons and airships for visitors of all ages. The ten-day program features more than 100 balloon launches, evening Night Glows and a broad range of entertainment and activities.

Alongside balloon displays, guests can enjoy live music, DJ performances, model aircraft demonstrations, parachute jumps, children’s activities and sports. Selected evenings include fireworks following the Night Glow, and the closing day features the Willer Classics vintage-car gathering. The event also offers paid balloon rides, priced at €290 per person, subject to weather conditions and scheduling.

Organizers Christoph Laloi and Thomas Oeding invite balloon teams to participate and businesses to become partners or sponsors. The event provides opportunities for companies to present themselves to its audience, which the organizers estimate at 50,000 to 100,000 visitors annually.
