BAM, which stands for Breaking Association Malmö, is a brand that was established in 2019. They specialize in promoting cultural and urban art forms, particularly within the positive sphere of hip-hop culture. Based in Malmö, BAM organizes workshops, trainings, competitions, and jams for dancers in Malmö and throughout Sweden.

As an organization, BAM aims to create learning and meaningful contexts that foster well-being and self-confidence, particularly among young people. They also strive to strengthen community, integration, and inclusivity while providing resources for realizing ideas and increasing accessibility to breaking. Breaking, also known as breakdance, is a style of street dance that originated in the Bronx, New York, in the early 1970s.

It is one of the four original elements of hip-hop culture, along with DJing, MCing (rapping), and graffiti art. Breaking combines acrobatic and gymnastic movements, such as spins, flips, and freezes, performed in sync with hip-hop, funk, and breakbeat music. BAM offers opportunities for people of all skill levels.

Their BAM Breakschool welcomes beginners (over 6 years old) to learn breaking/breakdance, while experienced dancers can participate in their open training sessions. Through their activities, BAM aims to create a vibrant community and promote the art of breaking in Malmö and beyond
