## Description

The British Association of Neuroscience Nurses (BANN) is a professional organisation supporting neuroscience nurses in the United Kingdom and internationally. It provides a voice for nurses working across clinical and community settings and promotes high standards of care, awareness of the needs of neuroscience patients, and the exchange of ideas and knowledge. BANN also encourages research and the development of professional competence in neuroscience nursing.

The association offers educational and professional resources, including information about neuroscience courses, financial support, grants, membership opportunities, and guidance for unit representatives. It organises conferences and provides presentation support, awards, and resources for members. BANN also works with professional partners and supports the Neuroscience Nursing Benchmark Group, which develops aims, benchmarks, and resources for neuroscience nursing centres.

BANN publishes reports and supports access to endorsed publications and neuroscience nursing journals. The British Journal of Neuroscience Nursing is its official journal, with reduced subscription rates available to BANN members.
