## Description

Stoic is the independent game studio behind The Banner Saga, an award-winning trilogy of tactical role-playing games set in a hand-painted Viking world. Across three chapters released between 2014 and 2018, the series combines strategic combat with a story shaped by player decisions. The first game challenges players to face the consequences of their choices; Banner Saga 2 follows a caravan traveling through a world in collapse; and Banner Saga 3 brings the saga to its conclusion with a final stand against a spreading darkness. The trilogy has received strong reviews from outlets including IGN and PC Gamer, with praise for its visual style, tactical depth, and emotionally consequential choices. Stoic provides access to the games through its online store and shares media and screenshots for the series. The studio also connects with players and creators through community channels including Discord, Twitter, YouTube, and Reddit, while offering press and awards information on its website.
