## Description

The Board of Addiction Professionals South Africa (BAPSA) is a membership board supporting addiction professionals and service providers across South Africa. It promotes high standards of ethics and professional and legal responsibility, with membership representing a commitment to excellence in the addiction field.

BAPSA connects members and providers with services designed to support their work and professional development. These include employment and internship referrals, education referrals, professional networking, peer support, resources, webinars, workshops and seminars. Members can also access professional status support, while providers can seek provider membership, facility registration support and facility endorsement.

The board helps people find addiction education and professional help, and offers routes for organisations and professionals to connect with employment candidates, interns and colleagues. Its website also shares news and educational articles on addiction treatment, assessment, clinical practice, recovery facilitation and professional training. BAPSA invites prospective members to submit an application and provides contact information for enquiries.
