## Description

Généalogie Baranton Fleury Ayfre Drot Couturier is a family genealogy website created by Pascal and Nadine Baranton to present research into their respective ancestries. It brings together family lines and historical information, with a focus on documenting how generations are connected and sharing the stories that can be recovered from the evidence. The research draws on French civil records and, where available, baptism, marriage and burial registers from the Ancien Régime. Military archives, notarial documents, cadastral records, photographs and family accounts also help enrich the picture of earlier generations.

The site offers concise, accessible ways to explore the family trees, including simplified charts covering six generations and more detailed fan-shaped displays spanning nine generations. Visitors can browse ancestry by name or place, view geographical origins and consult lists and family branches, including the descendants of Mathias Baranton. Developed by Pascal Baranton, the site reflects a personal interest in genealogy and computing, and aims to present family research in both familiar and distinctive formats.
