## Description

The Barbados and Carolinas Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization established in 2012 to strengthen connections between Barbados and the Carolinas. It facilitates collaboration in business, education, history, and culture, while highlighting the people, events, and influences that link the regions. Its mission is to research, archive, promote, and support opportunities for Barbados–Carolinas collaboration.

The Foundation shares its work through historical research, fascinating stories, points of interest, blog articles, and an itinerary for exploring connections between the islands and the Carolina coast. Its website invites visitors to learn about shared heritage, discover new research, and consider how historical relationships continue to matter today. The organization also encourages questions, ideas, and community support, including donations to help advance its mission.

Guided by values of mutual respect, collaboration, education, innovation, excellence, and measurable results, the Foundation aims to inform and build meaningful connections. Founded by Rhoda Green, it presents its work as an ongoing effort and welcomes participation in developing its programs and resources.
