## Description

Perttula Weddings is the photography brand of Barbarah and Matias Perttula, a husband-and-wife team based in Arlington, Virginia. They photograph weddings, couples, and elopements across Washington, DC, Virginia, and Maryland, and are happy to travel wherever their clients’ stories take them. Their approach is centered on observing moments as they unfold naturally and capturing the feelings and connections between people, rather than simply documenting how an occasion looks.

The photographers describe themselves as professional third wheels for joyful, carefree, adventurous, goofy couples with distinctive style. Their work is designed to give couples meaningful memories they can treasure throughout their lives together. The website features wedding, couple, and elopement galleries, along with information about the team, their investment offerings, and contact details for prospective clients. Away from photography, Barbarah and Matias enjoy family life, renovating their historic home, hiking, snowboarding, cooking, and hosting friends and family. Through a warm, personal presence and an emphasis on genuine connection, Perttula Weddings helps couples preserve the moments that make their celebrations uniquely theirs.
