## Description

Barefoot Addo Elephant Lodge is a boutique safari camp on the boundary of Addo Elephant National Park in South Africa’s Eastern Cape. Set within the Greater Addo region, about a two-hour drive from Port Elizabeth, the lodge offers luxury accommodation in a fully fenced game reserve, with a tranquil, intimate atmosphere suited to families and other safari visitors. Guests can choose self-catering accommodation or meals served at the lodge, where dining includes food and wine. Experiences include elephant encounters and walks, guided bird and botany walks, game drives, and private bush braais. The lodge also offers an in-house beauty therapist, while nearby Addo Elephant National Park provides another destination to explore. Its interiors draw inspiration from nature and a relaxed, uncomplicated lifestyle, with light colours, white linen, natural wood and woven details. The lodge’s approach is also shaped by a commitment to conservation: it aims to protect the local environment and minimise disturbance to the region’s ecosystem. Reservations and online booking are available.
