## Description

Barrafina is a celebrated Spanish tapas counter-dining experience established in London in 2007 by brothers Sam and Eddie Hart. Inspired by the culinary heritage of their mothers from the Balearic island of Mallorca and the vibrant tapas culture of Barcelona, Barrafina brings a modern twist to traditional Spanish dishes. The restaurant pays homage to their familial roots, enriched by summers spent at their parents' Michelin-starred establishment, Hambleton Hall, and memories of local markets and village eateries in Mallorca. It has gained acclaim for its innovative menu, showcasing seasonal and local ingredients prepared with simplicity and flair. Barrafina has successfully expanded with multiple locations, including notable spots in Soho, Covent Garden, and Borough Yards. Recognized for culinary excellence, the restaurant was the first no-reservations venue to earn a Michelin star. The brand continues to thrive under Sam's leadership, with new ventures like Anna's management and Eddie's separate tapas endeavors in Mallorca. Barrafina invites diners to savor the essence of Spain in a vibrant setting.
