## Description

BAS ATELIER is a Miami, Florida studio led by sculptor Luis Ignacio Figallo, creating sculptural works and architectural surfaces shaped by form, texture, and light. The practice brings together forms inspired by the natural world, architectural discipline, and hand carving, producing work that ranges from individual reliefs to surfaces conceived for buildings.

The studio offers bespoke commissions developed in conversation with each client and their space. Its process considers a room’s light, proportions, and use, with drawings and material studies helping to shape the project. The collection includes sculpted wood bas-reliefs finished with limewash, offered in multiple sizes. BAS ATELIER also creates architectural wall cladding, extending carved forms beyond standalone objects.

Limewash is a mineral finish made with lime and pigment, applied by hand in thin layers. Its matte surface shows subtle tonal variation, while changing light reveals the brushwork and relief. The studio presents its work through a gallery and color palette, and invites inquiries for private commissions, architectural projects, and collection pieces.
