## Description

The French BASE Association (FBA) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting BASE jumping in France. Its website serves both French and international visitors interested in the sport, which involves jumping from buildings, antennas, spans such as bridges, and natural formations. The association provides a forum where members can ask and answer questions, including an English-language section for people seeking information about jumping in France. It also offers practical advice, helping participants order equipment and offering time to review packing practices, discuss gear, and talk about progression. For visitors planning to jump in France or elsewhere in Europe, FBA encourages arranging insurance to help cover costs related to accidents, mountain rescue, and hospital care. The site also features information about locations, insurance, rigging, and other BASE-jumping resources, alongside articles and news about the sport. Based in Chamonix, the association connects people through its forum and community, supporting discussion and access to information about BASE jumping.
