It is a community-operated physical place where individuals come together to meet and collaborate on various projects. Our hackerspace serves as a well-equipped laboratory, a club, a meeting place, a lecture hall, and a common interest group. The name "base48" was chosen because our original location was on Čápkova Street No. 48, and to avoid any confusion with search engines, we opted for a unique name. At Base48, we aim to promote and advance fields such as electronics, robotics, artificial intelligence, knowledge sharing, ICT security, penetration testing, 3D printing, and open-source software and hardware development. We also provide support to non-profit organizations with similar goals.
