## Description

The Basic Income Canada Network (BICN) is a national advocacy organization dedicated to the promotion of basic income as a means to ensure that all Canadians can meet their essential needs and live with dignity. With a commitment to principles of universality, adequacy, and economic equality, BICN seeks to generate awareness and support for basic income policies at local, provincial, and national levels.

BICN offers a variety of resources, including research reports, informational guides, and media advocacy aimed at educating the public and policymakers about the benefits of basic income. They also host events, such as the recent BIG Forum, which brought together over 300 participants to discuss strategies for implementing basic income in Canada.

Through collaborative efforts, community engagement initiatives, and an emphasis on informed action, the Basic Income Canada Network works tirelessly to build momentum for a future where every Canadian can thrive, promoting a fairer society where basic economic security is a right for all.
