BatlGrid, part of the Baileywiki suite of tools for tabletop RPG creators, is an AI-powered battlemap editor for game masters, players, map artists, world builders, content creators, and commission artists. Designed for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, and other tabletop role-playing games, it helps users turn rough sketches or existing maps into polished, virtual tabletop-ready scenes without requiring separate battlemap software.

Creators can use drawing tools, brushes, stamps, and fill tools to build map schematics, then enhance them with AI style transfer and selective inpainting. Editing features support targeted changes, such as adding interiors, props, statues, roofs, or damaged floors, while preserving the surrounding artwork. Users can explore styles including photorealistic, illustrated, cartoon, and hand-drawn, apply themes such as cyberpunk or dark fantasy, and adjust a map’s time of day. BatlGrid also offers animation, edge smoothing, chunk-based processing for large maps, history controls, and upscaling to four times the resolution. Maps can be gridded, downloaded in high resolution, and imported into a VTT.
