## Description

BattenKill Farms, also known as BattenKill Hunt & Fish Club, is a hunting and outdoor destination in Salem, upstate New York, near the New York–Vermont border and south of Adirondack Park. Its 750-plus acres of actively managed farmland and wildlife habitat include multiple properties with varied terrain and game, allowing guests to plan hunts suited to their interests. Guided opportunities include whitetail deer and elk hunting, with additional inquiries welcomed for fallow deer, sika deer, turkey, long-range shooting, and clays wingshooting.

Guests can choose among three lodging options. The Main Cabin, a renovated inn, sleeps up to 14; the Mountain Top Cabin offers five bedrooms, a stone fireplace, and scenic views; and the Off-Grid Cabin sits on 300 acres of elk and whitetail property and is reached by ATV or off-road vehicle. BattenKill’s guides help visitors plan their adventures, while the club also accepts inquiries about weddings and events.
