## Description

Battlefields.ca, also presented as Canadian Battlefields, is a history-focused site built around the work of military historian and author Norm Christie. It helps visitors explore Canada’s First and Second World War experiences through books, television programs, documentaries, and battlefield tours. Christie authored the For King & Empire book series and hosted History Television productions including For King and Empire, For King and Country, and Battlefield Mysteries. The site also features documentaries on Canada’s Lost Battlefields, the Secret Liberators, and the Great War Tour, alongside other historical programs such as Striking Back and In Korea.

The online store offers Christie’s books, memoirs, historical accounts, DVDs, bundle deals, and related items. Its book selections include histories, sacred-place titles, and firsthand accounts from people who experienced the wars. Visitors can also find information about guided tours to First and Second World War locations, including Juno Beach, Passchendaele, the Somme, Vimy Ridge, and Ypres. Additional resources cover Canadian battlefields, cemeteries, war museums, and historical research.
