## Description

Battle of the Badges is a brand that organizes a non-profit amateur boxing show in Monroe City. This exciting event features thrilling matches between policemen and firemen from all over the south. The main goal of Battle of the Badges is to raise funds for selected charities and make a positive impact on the community. Since its establishment in 2005, the brand has donated over $200,000.00 to various charities and witnessed a record-breaking attendance of more than 7,500 spectators from across the country. The proceeds from the event are divided evenly among chosen charities, such as the Jake Owen Raborn Foundation and Med-Camps of Louisiana. The foundation supports families battling pediatric cancer, while Med-Camps provides a free week-long camp experience for children with illnesses and disabilities. By attending Battle of the Badges, you can not only enjoy an incredible boxing show but also support these meaningful causes. Join us and be a part of this outstanding event that brings together the community, the first responders, and the spirit of giving back.
