## Description

Obstbaumschule Wagner is a family-run nursery in Poxdorf, Franconia, rooted in generations of horticultural knowledge and decades of experience. The Wagner family grows its plants on its own land, selecting varieties suited to the local climate and conditions. Its range includes fruit trees such as apples, pears, cherries, plums and walnuts, along with berry bushes, plants for traditional orchard meadows, and rare or historic fruit varieties. The nursery combines traditional expertise with modern techniques and a focus on sustainable cultivation and plant quality.

As a partner in Bavaria’s “Streuobst für alle” initiative, Obstbaumschule Wagner supports the preservation of native fruit diversity and the creation of new orchard meadows. The team provides personal advice, including guidance on choosing varieties suited to a customer’s soil and location, and supplies plants for gardens and broader planting projects. Visitors can explore the regional selection at the nursery in Poxdorf, between Forchheim and Erlangen. The business is also a recognized production nursery of the Association of German Nurseries (BdB).
