# Bayou Paws Veterinary Hospital - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bayoupawsvet.com` ## Description Bayou Paws Veterinary Hospital is a locally and independently owned veterinary practice in New Orleans, founded by Dr. Johanna Ecke after 15 years in practice. The woman-owned hospital is built around a simple goal: to provide excellent medical care in a calmer, more compassionate setting where pets and their people feel welcome. Its services include wellness exams, vaccinations, dental care, surgery, diagnostic services, and acupuncture. A Fear Free-focused approach supports pets’ emotional as well as physical well-being. The team uses gentle handling, positive reinforcement, flexible pacing, and soothing pheromones, adjusting visits to each animal’s needs and pausing when a pet feels overwhelmed. Cats and dogs have separate waiting rooms, exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospitalization spaces, while quiet resting areas offer dogs a more peaceful alternative to traditional kennel wards. Located on Canal Street, Bayou Paws serves the New Orleans community with unhurried appointments, clear communication, and personalized care. The hospital also aims to support local businesses and make thoughtful, environmentally conscious choices. It welcomes new patients. ## Industries - 🐶 Pets and Animals - 🐶 Pets _(under Pets and Animals)_ - ⛑ Health ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/bayoupawsvet) - [instagram](https://instagram.com/bayoupawsvet) - [linkedin](https://linkedin.com/company/bayou-paws-veterinary-hospital) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG, SVG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idJtIwBrL1/w/820/h/1025/theme/dark/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790691331093) - icon _(primary)_ — JPEG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/idJtIwBrL1/w/1499/h/1499/theme/dark/icon.jpeg?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1790691331504) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Harvest Gold | #e2af75 | accent | | Outer Space | #32373c | dark | | Gallery | #eeeeee | light | --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
