# Bayou Rifles - **Website:** - **Primary alias:** `bayourifles.org` ## Description Bayou Rifles Inc. is a private, member-based shooting club founded in 1936 by Houston-area shooters seeking opportunities for recreational and competitive shooting, with safety as its guiding principle. The organization operates two ranges: the George R. Huffman Memorial Range in Juliff and the Addicks Range. Juliff includes NRA-approved facilities for shooting at 300, 600, and 1,000 yards, while Addicks supports silhouette shooting sports. Together, the venues serve a broad range of disciplines and make Bayou Rifles a prominent shooting facility on the Gulf Coast. The club offers members access to shooting venues, match schedules, competition resources, and results across high-power rifle, pistol, smallbore, and BRASS events. Its programs include metallic silhouette competitions in smallbore rifle, air rifle, and lever-action rifle, as well as bullseye pistol and high-power rifle competition. Bayou Rifles has a longstanding national reputation in silhouette shooting and high-power rifle events. The ranges are open during normal operating hours, but are not open to the general public except for matches. ## Industries - 🏈 Sports - 🏈 Hunting and Shooting _(under Sports)_ - 🎸 Hobbies and Leisure - 🎸 Camping Scouting and Outdoors _(under Hobbies and Leisure)_ ## Links - [facebook](https://facebook.com/bayourifles) ## Logos & icons - logo _(primary)_ — PNG — [download](https://cdn.brandfetch.io/id9SxJIZT7/w/2200/h/1138/theme/light/logo.png?c=1bxid64Mup7aczewSAYMX&t=1793476433588) ## Colors | Name | Hex | Theme | | --- | --- | --- | | Mexican Red | #ac2925 | accent | | Black | #000000 | dark | | White | #ffffff | light | ## Fonts - var(--sysFont) — asset _(custom)_ - Arial — asset _(custom)_ --- _Source: _ _See [/llms.txt](/llms.txt) for a full list of agent-readable pages, and [/auth.md](/auth.md) for how agents authenticate._
