## Description

BB4P, or Basketball For Peace, is a dynamic youth organization dedicated to fostering peace and coexistence through the sport of basketball in Nigeria. Founded with the mission to divert “at-risk” youth from violent conflicts, BB4P has engaged over 36,000 participants across the country, completing 64 impactful projects in 12 states over the past 15 years. The organization provides a pathway for communities to establish Peace Zones and host basketball competitions, inviting local sponsorship to promote teamwork, discipline, and mutual respect among young individuals.

BB4P envisions a Peace Zone in every local government area in Nigeria and aims to create a nationwide network that culminates in an annual African basketball league centered on peace initiatives. With a focus on community engagement and sustainable development, BB4P strives to empower youth as ethical leaders capable of mediating conflicts and driving societal progress. By leveraging basketball's universal appeal, BB4P is making strides toward reducing unrest and fostering a culture of harmony among Nigeria's youth.
