## Description

Beat by Beat Press is a brand that is passionate about inspiring kids through musical theatre. They are a team of writers and arts educators who have a deep love for children's musicals. Their journey started in 2005 when Denver Casado and Betina Hershey met in the Tony award-winning BMI Musical Theatre Workshop, where iconic shows like A Chorus Line and Avenue Q were developed. Alongside their professional projects, they also co-directed a musical theatre program for kids. It was during this time that they realized there was a lack of original, high-quality musicals for elementary-age kids to perform. Motivated to make a change, they started writing their own original musicals each year, specifically tailored to the kids in their program. These shows became a hit in the NYC community and gained recognition from schools and theaters who wanted to perform them. Beat by Beat Press now offers a wide range of original, high-quality children's musicals, books, singles, drama games, and more. Join their vibrant community and discover the joy of teaching drama through their engaging materials.
