Big Brothers Big Sisters

Big Brothers Big Sisters of America is the nation's largest donor and volunteer-supported mentoring network, dedicated to inspiring and empowering young people to succeed in life. For over 100 years, they have been making meaningful, monitored matches between adult volunteers, known as Bigs, and children, known as Littles, aged 6 to 18, in communities across the country. Through their community-based and school-based programs, as well as programs specifically designed for children of military families and children with incarcerated parents, they provide positive and transformative relationships that have a lasting impact on the lives of young people.

Their mentors help children build self-confidence, improve their academic performance, and gain resilience and a sense of belonging.
