## Description

Berkeley Brewing Science is a brand driven by scientists who are passionate about using science for the betterment of the planet and people. Focusing on the humble yet powerful organism, yeast, Berkeley Yeast aims to revolutionize the way fermented foods and beverages are made on a commercial scale. By bioengineering yeast strains, they unlock the potential for surprising and beneficial transformations in the brewing and winemaking industries. But their impact goes beyond that, as fermentation plays a vital role in the production of various everyday staples, from bread, cheese, and vinegar to soy sauce, chocolate, and more. What sets Berkeley Yeast apart is their unwavering commitment to responsible science. They strive to develop strains that reduce the use of resource-intensive crops and make it easier for brewers to achieve unique flavors. Their dedicated team of scientists is not only intellectually curious but also deeply caring about the world around them. Composed of beer enthusiasts, outdoor adventurers, and parents, they put their expertise to good use by ensuring that their work benefits the future of our food sources and protects the planet. Berkeley Brewing Science is science that makes a positive difference.
