## Description

BBZ Biel-Bienne is a vocational education and training institution of the Canton of Bern, serving learners across four departments and three locations in a bilingual environment. Its central mission is to support learners throughout their education and prepare them for future careers. The centre offers vocational basic education alongside workplace apprenticeships, as well as full-time programmes at its Technical School leading to federally recognised qualifications. Students can also pursue vocational baccalaureate studies, providing a route to universities of applied sciences, or join bridge programmes that prepare young people for vocational training after compulsory schooling.

Beyond its core programmes, BBZ Biel-Bienne provides supplementary learning support, coaching and mediation, learning advice, remedial and development courses, and guidance for those choosing a career. It also offers programmes and events for schools. The Technical School covers areas including mechanics, electronics, design engineering and watchmaking. Through courses, information events and practical learning opportunities, BBZ Biel-Bienne helps learners explore educational options and develop skills for their professional futures.
