## Description

BCH2, also known as Bitcoin Cash II, is an open-source cryptocurrency project focused on peer-to-peer electronic cash and decentralized SHA-256 mining. It forked from BC2 (BitcoinII) at block 53,200, preserving the earlier transaction history while adopting Bitcoin Cash consensus rules. BC2 holders received BCH2 at a 1:1 ratio, with support for legacy, SegWit, and wrapped SegWit addresses. The project states that it had no premine, ICO, or developer fee, and that newly issued coins go to miners.

The network has a 21 million coin supply cap, a 50 BCH2 block reward, and a 32 MB block size. Its features include ASERT difficulty adjustment, SIGHASH_FORKID replay protection, and CashAddr addressing. BCH2 provides tools and services for participating in its network, including full-node desktop wallets for Windows, macOS, and Linux, a client-side web wallet, mining pool access, and a block explorer. Users can also access the open-source code, community channels, and BCH2/USDT trading on exchanges including NonKYC, Biconomy, NestEx, and Neoxa.
