## Description

BC Living Lab is a collaborative agricultural initiative led by the Investment Agriculture Foundation of BC (IAF) with partners across British Columbia’s agriculture sector. Supported by Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Agricultural Climate Solutions – Living Labs program, it connects scientific research with farm operations to develop and encourage the adoption of effective practices and technologies.

The project helps farmers contribute to climate change mitigation while improving farm productivity and the ecological benefits of agricultural land for future generations. Its areas of focus include cattle and forage, dairy, field vegetables, and perennial row crops. Work shared through the initiative includes research and practical activities on topics such as cover crops, vineyard health, invasive species management, and extended winter grazing.

BC Living Lab provides farmers, researchers, and industry partners with opportunities to share knowledge and explore agricultural practices through field days, webinars, surveys, and other events. Its website offers news, research resources, funding information, and requests for proposals.
